Lisa Lynn, President of Greer, SC Community Lighthouse says that she and Kathy Hannah, VP of Financial Development find great satisfaction in serving the community as they both grew up in Greer. As Lisa says, “We thrive on giving back to our wonderful community.”
When the New Hampshire Area Team invited the Aglow family to view the recent Reset Webcast with them, they had a very interesting incident.
“In the midst of chaos and uncertainty, I have a good report. The good citizens of Minneapolis voted to keep funding the police. I was so grateful, I cried. Minneapolis was where all the trouble started last year.” writes Jean Priest.
Recently the 29 Palms Community Lighthouse in California collected toiletry items for those in need. Members of the group joined together to place the items in bags.
In 1986 Barbara Pritchett attended her first Aglow meeting when she was an inmate at a women’s prison in Hardwick, Georgia. Through Aglow the Lord radically transformed her life. Over the years Barbara has held many leadership positions in Aglow.

The Hartford Lighthouse was opened on April 16, 2020, right about the time the virus hit the nation. In September they made the decision to join A-Company. What a giant, bold step to take as parts of the nation were just opening from being shut down.
The Matteson IL Mom’s Generations Group has been established and meeting for about 10 years. We praise God for all the leaders and wonderful moms who have faithfully kept this group going and making a difference in countless ways in the lives of families.

Several years ago, Jean Priest had a heart to pray for law enforcement. This was long before the push to defund the police began. God knows and He gives us a thought and those with an ear to hear, like Jean, run with it.
In July the Capital Prayer Aglow Group in Sacramento, CA were astonished to find the barricades down as they arrived to pray. Excitement filled the air!
The Chicago North Suburban Area Aglow was prompted by their Area leaders to not only pray for local Law Enforcement Officers, but to bless them with food and encouraging words.
Aglow in Phelan, California is a unique group that provides clothing resources for those who need help. For over six years, Nancy Santiago, President of Phelan Community Lighthouse, has offered a clothing pantry to those in need in the Tri-Community.
