31 men from 5 cities recently attended the first Bakersfield California Men’s Aglow meeting. Four pastors were among the attendees. Lighthouse President Dave McDaniel, writes, “Norris Miller, Al Belanger, and Alex Ramos did a great job in helping to get our Lighthouse off the ground. We are very thankful for the advice and guidance of Tony Hoyt and Jeff Hansen over the past year about the logistics of beginning a Lighthouse.”
“We have been seeking the Lord the past year about this Lighthouse. We didn't want to just have a meeting, instead we felt that we needed to dive in for the next 6 months and teach on the identity message from Graham. After 6 months, we are hoping to break into small teaching groups and begin planting more Lighthouses in our area.”
“There is a big hunger in our valley for men to chase after God, as evidenced by the need to move into a bigger room next month. As Bill Johnson has said, ‘when we move in the purposes of God, we can accomplish more on accident than we ever did on purpose.’”
