breadThe members of the Ocean Springs Mississippi Lighthouse are end time Kingdom runners with a passion and zeal for Jesus. The Lighthouse recently held a meeting at Sue's Home, a half-way house that helps women who have been in jail transition back into the real world.

In a recent Good News report to the Aglow Headquarters office, Lighthouse President Leslie Lennep writes,

In the meeting the oil and presence of the Holy Spirit was so refreshing. God has told me to encourage the men and women who attend our Lighthouse to begin using their gifts and talents. One of the ladies who attends faithfully led us in worship and then shared on identity, seeing ourselves through God's Eyes. So many times, we put our self-worth and identity into other people when it should come from the Lord alone.

Afterwards, one of the younger women named Leslie shared how she had a heart for worship and dance. She asked if she could do a dance to the Revival song with her group. 2 Aglow ladies felt led to give her two flags for her worship dance and the women danced together. She was truly blessed, and we were blessed by all these women.

At the meeting we presented ‘One Touch’ pillowcases to each of the 6 residents and 2 staff members present of Sue's Home. I shared with the women that it doesn't matter what they have done, one touch from the Master can change everything. Prayer and prophetic words went up to Heaven on behalf of each woman.

When all the girls came into the room aprecious young woman approached Ann Palermo, VP of Administration for OS Aglow and MS Area Team and said, ‘You don't remember me but you prayed for me and my husband in jail over a year ago. I am so happy to see you. I can't believe it’s you! I told the girls when you walked in that you were the one who had prayed for me.’ After a hug with Ann the young woman went on to say that what we (Aglow Jail Ministry) do at the jails makes a difference.

God has told our Lighthouse to only serve Fresh Bread this year. He specifically said, ‘NoLeftovers’. During this meeting He also spoke that we are His Fresh Bread.   He has kneaded us and kneaded us and has put His own yeast into us. We have been rising, and the bread has been baked. Now is the time for the bread to be served. There are so many people in our communities who are hungry for fresh bread. They have eaten leftovers and stale bread long enough. Now, they want fresh bread.   We are that fresh bread, and God desires that we feed the hungry.

What an awesome meeting. No big name speaker, just ordinary women and men who love the Lord sharing with hungry, hurting women, building relationships, being real and presenting Jesus and his great love and compassion. I could see Jesus smiling and He said, “Thank you for sharing fresh bread.” This is truly what it is all about. To God be all the Glory and Honor!
