healedLiz, a registered nurse, had been going to a chiropractor for her neck due to the strain from lifting patients and pushing medical carts over the years.  It was discovered she had herniated disks in her neck.  But last January she woke up at 4 AM in intense agony and rushed to the emergency room.

In severe pain, she had to keep her right arm above her head.  In the ER they tied her arm to an IV pole above her head.  After 3 pain shots they sent her home to follow up with her family doctor.  For 2 1/2 days family and friends helped her keep her right arm hyper stretched above her head.

At the follow-up appointment the doctor did an ultrasound of her right shoulder and discovered a torn rotator cuff.  Of more immediate concern, however, was her neck.  Liz was set up for a STAT MRI where she was told to see a neurosurgeon immediately. Shortly thereafter she underwent neck surgery.

During recovery her right arm was very painful and weak. An ultrasound indicated that the tear in her rotator cuff had grown.  Liz was instructed not to use her right arm unless absolutely necessary.
Despite the pain she was in, Liz attended the NWPA Area Aglow Retreat.  At one of the meetings there was a call for prayer, so she went forward.

Liz writes, “As they prayed for me I felt an intense hot heat. It felt like my upper right arm and shoulder were on fire. I claimed my healing! Those who prayed for me shared that they felt something too. The following week I had another MRI of my right shoulder.  The doctor told me the MRI results showed no tear. I only had rotator cuff tendonitis. I asked him if a tear can repair.  He said they don’t, and was not sure why the tear was gone.  I told him I was prayed for, hands were laid on me at an Aglow retreat, and I was healed. I asked him if he believed that, and he said there was no other explanation of what had happened.”

Liz is still rejoicing, walking in her healing.
