Hartford OutreachTammy Hendrix, President of the Hartford, Alabama Aglow Lighthouse, and VP of Ministry Development and Resource on the Alabama Area Team has a wonderful report to share.

The Hartford Lighthouse was opened on April 16, 2020, right about the time the virus hit the nation. They made the decision to become a faithful member of A-Company on September 17. What a giant, bold step to take as parts of the nation were just opening from being shut down. Thank you!

As 2021 began, the team in Hartford knew there was a growing homeless community. They asked those attending their Lighthouse to bring collected items from February through April as an Outreach Project. Items such as shaving cream, razors, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, men’s and women’s underwear, toothpaste, toothbrushes and deodorant began to accumulate. Partnering with Love in Action, a ministry in Dothan, AL, the items were given out to those in need.

Send us your story of how your Aglow group is reaching out to those in need in your community.
