In lue of the monthly Fireside Chat the 29 Palms Community Lighthouse held a fun Mother’s Day tea and hat contest. Each lady went to the extreme to decorate a hat. Kuulei Strait presented a Hawaiian dance to the song, “Power of His Love”.
Martha Edwards was honored for celebrating a milestone birthday – 94! The local newspaper sent a photographer to commemorate the special occasion.
Because seven of the group had attended the recent Regional Rally in Ontario, CA, they took a few minutes to share their testimonies. Having Jane Hansen Hoyt as a speaker made a lasting impression as they listened to her share her journey both personally and in Aglow.
