Aglow Estonia Summer Camp

Aglow Estonia had their summer camp from July 10-12 in South Estonia in a beautiful tourist farm. “It was an amazing time for all of us,” writes Reet Tomusk, Aglow Estonia National President.

Reet continues,

Estonia Summer CampI had my doubts whether to have the camp or call it off because of COVID-19 but as the situation in Estonia had stabilized quite well, we decided to have it. My husband told me before the camp that it was going to be the best camp ever (so far) and I dare say it was.

As you know, I wanted to concentrate on Game Changers materials one more time and I am very thankful for the handbooks sent from the headquarters. For two weeks I studied the material myself and wrote notes. During these three days in the camp we concentrated on our identity, being an internal overcomer, the mind of Christ, spiritual laws, and we declared war to all negativity.

Our women found the teaching very useful and I believe some deeper foundations were established this time. We have a proverb in Estonian: “Revision is the mother of wisdom”. Being a teacher I truly believe that quite often just listening once or twice, or eve thrice, for that matter, is not enough, and revision helps the knowledge gained grow deeper roots.

We also “took the mountain” as a prophetic act. We were staying near the highest mountain in Estonia and in Baltic states – Suur Munamägi (Big Egg Mountain), 318 meters high. So, on Saturday afternoon we decided to treat the mountain not as an obstacle but as an opportunity, and we climbed the mountain to enjoy the view of our beautiful homeland. Estonia is also called Maarjamaa (the Land of Mary).

We had the largest number of participants this time (29 women) and they all enjoyed our time together. We also laughed a lot which is refreshing and liberating.

Our scripture for 2020 is Isaiah 43:19

Behold, I will do a new thing,
Now it shall spring forth;
Shall you not know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert.

We could really feel great changes taking place in women.

Much love,

Reet
