My father was a pastor, and of course I loved him dearly because he was my dad, but I esteemed him highly because of the way he studied, sought God, preached and taught. He was a great man of God, and I listened and loved when he spoke.
I remember asking him at one point, "How do you know that you're in the will of God? What does that feel like?" Have you ever grappled with that? You think, "Am I in the right place? Am I doing it right? Am I doing enough?" I'll never forget his answer. It was so simple. He said, "Follow your peace."
I want to encourage you today that no matter what stands before you, follow peace.
- Lord, I rest in Your peace as I navigate perplexing situations in my life. I lean into Your peace as I seek direction for my life. Your peace guides me into the fullness of Your intentions for my life. You are my Prince of Peace.
- Lord, help me to follow Your peace in all my decisions. Silence the confusion around me, and give me Your peace.
- Isaiah 26:3 - You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.
- 2 Thessalonians 3:16 - Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all.
- John 14:26-27 - The Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
- Proverbs 3:5-6 - Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

An excerpt from Identity is the Key to Transformation
He has prepared a company of people, a family, functioning in the fullness of His anointings, ready to manifest, reveal, and release who He is into the earth. You will see the transformation of entire nations in this season. You will see entire cities and nations transform! . . . You must do it in humility, but you must do it. You must understand that you have authority in the Earth. You must understand that you are an apostolic, prophetic, evangelistic, teaching, nurturing, shepherding organization. YOU CAN DO THIS!
- Thank You for Your anointing, Lord! Reveal Yourself through me!
- Lord, I stand confidently in the power of Your authority to release Your glory, Your Majesty, and Your transforming power.

Secure the Borders of Your Territory
Currently in America, intercessors have been anointing the borders of their land with oil and asking the Lord to secure and protect the land as He also releases a demonstration of His Glory. Let us extend this prayer strategy around the world to secure the borders of all our nations, our cities, our homes. You may do this by taking a prayer walk or prayer drive around your city. Perhaps you will go to strategic locations such as the border or government offices or schools or major industries in your community. Pray also for the borders of your influence – your home, your family, your workplace, your Aglow group, your church. Ask Holy Spirit to lead you, and He will give you a specific strategy.
- Violence shall no longer be heard in your land, neither wasting nor destruction within your borders; But you shall call your walls Salvation, And your gates Praise. – Isaiah 60:18
- For He has strengthened the bars of your gates; He has blessed your children within you. He makes peace in your borders and fills you with the finest wheat. – Psalm 147:13-14
- The poor shall eat and be satisfied. Those who seek Him will praise the Lord. Let your heart live forever! All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations shall worship before You. For the kingdom is the Lord’s, and He rules over the nations. – Psalm 22:26-28
- The name of the city from that day shall be: THE LORD IS THERE. – Ezekiel 48:35
Summon the Nations!
Aglow International is called to take the Light of Jesus, to bring hope, and to build the Kingdom in all communities, cities, and nations
- I will whistle for them and gather them, for I will redeem them. And they shall increase as they once increased. – Zechariah 10:8 NKJV
- Look! You will summon nations you’ve never heard of. Nations who have never heard of you will come running to follow you because Yahweh, your God, the Holy One of Israel, has glorified you. – Isaiah 55:5 TPT
- Look among the nations and watch—Be utterly astounded! For I will work a work in your days which you would not believe, though it were told you. – Habakkuk 1:5
- And all the nations will be gathered before Him; and He will separate them from one another, just as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. – Matthew 25:32
- Lord, You said: “Aglow will have lighthouses in every nation.” It is time!
- Lord, the nations belong to You! Bring each nation into the fullness of Your plans. Bring people in each nation to the fullness of Christ by Your Spirit.
- What nation has God put on your heart? Ask Him for that nation to experience an unprecedented awakening in the Spirit of God. Find details on nations at aglowglobalprayer.org
- Lord, give me strategies for praying for the nations You lay on my heart. Reveal Your purposes. Show me how I can help bring the gospel and release Your Kingdom in these nations.
Stop Human Trafficking
In response to “Sound of Freedom”, a movie on child sex trafficking, Jane reminded us of these prayer points from Aglow's Anti-Human Trafficking website page.
Pray for the Vulnerable in Your Community
- Lord, you know the hopes of the helpless. Hear their cries and comfort them. Bring justice to the orphans and the oppressed, so their captors can no longer terrify them. Ps. 10:17-18
- Pray protection for immigrants, that they will not be exploited. This is a common occurrence for those crossing the southern border of the United States.
- Pray for your schools. Pray for discernment for teachers as the new school year begins - let them have eyes to see and ears to hear when dangerous activity is going on and wisdom in how to respond. Paint the borders of your schools during the summer months.
- Ask God for a scripture to proclaim over your neighborhood, your children and grandchildren and then be faithful to proclaim it.
- Ask God to open your eyes to sex and labor trafficking in your community and how you can get involved in practical ways. Perhaps anointing roadways and railroads and ports of entrance. He will show you.
Aglow in the Gates of Nations
We are praying for Aglow to be affiliated in every nation of the world. We are very close to reaching that goal. Let’s continue to move forward together, a company of champions and global leaders of significance, to see Every nation touched, every heart changed.
- Declare Awakening throughout the nations of the earth!
- Lord, empower Aglow people in these nations to hasten Your Great Awakening.
- Pray for passion to fulfill Jesus’ apostolic commission to establish the Kingdom of God in each nation.
- Lord, open the gates of nations to the King of Glory!
- Lord, stir a deep compassion in me for the people of these nations.
- Pray there is an opening for Aglow International to cultivate a presence in every nation that creates an atmosphere of celebration, impartation, and restoration.
- Pray for Christians in every nation to grow in courage and an overcoming spirit.
- Pray also for these African nations where Aglow has a presence. Next month we will pray for more African nations. Pray for a greater influence for the Kingdom of Heaven. Pray for new leaders to arise. Pray for younger generations as they respond to the call of leadership in Aglow.

A Note and A Prayer
One way we pray is to make declarations and decrees. These are powerful statements of faith in alignment with what the Lord has said in the Bible and through prophecies. When we make declarations and decrees, we are releasing the Heart of God and the atmosphere of Heaven into the circumstances of Earth. It is a powerful way to pray!
How much more powerful when God Himself makes a decree! Psalm 2:7 says, “I will declare the decree the Lord has said to me.” Read the remainder of that Psalm. When God makes a decree the schemes of darkness are crushed, the Heavens are filled with laughter, and nations are given into the Hands of the Son of God. Hallelujah!
What has God decreed over you, your family, and your nation? Make those decrees part of your prayer. With the Psalmist, boldly pray, “I will declare the decree the Lord has said to me!” Then, watch the power of God crush darkness, listen for the laughter of Heaven, and rejoice that you belong to Jesus!
Lord, I lift up our Aglow sisters and brothers around the world. Let the sound of Your decrees fill their hearts and minds to strengthen their spirits. Let the sound of Your decrees destroy the works of the enemy and release the Life of Your Spirit. Decree breakthrough over each one – spiritual breakthrough, financial breakthrough, reconciliation and healing of relationships, miracles of physical healing. Decree “Salvation has come!” in our homes and our nations. Your Heavens declare the Glory of the Lord! Be glorified in us.
