Recently Sherry Anderson, Florida State Leader, sent in a report of FIVE significant occurrences for the first quarter of 2024.
In March, a State Rally was held by Sherry. Around 150 people attended with speakers Dave McDaniel, Nancy McDaniel and Ken Malone. Sherry said that at two of the sessions, a nine-year old led praise and worship, accompanied by her Grandmother on keyboard. D’Lee ushered in the Presence of God with an amazing worship dance. A shift was felt in Florida!
Suzanne Bennett serves East Central Area as VP of Public Relations and Panama City Writers Lighthouse as VP of Ministry Development. Currently Suzanne, along with the assistance of Debi Fletcher, are leading a GameChangers course where 25 people are engaged in changing their game. Those participating by Zoom and Facebook are from Florida, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and South Carolina. Way to go Suzanne and Debi, and all the attendees!
The Ocala Lighthouse is a prison ministry that meets weekly. At a recent meeting 40 inmates stood to receive salvation and the Holy Spirit filled the room. Most of them who came stayed through their dinner time, missing it completely! They said that they would rather have Jesus than dinner. They were repenting, forgiving one another, and praying for each other for healing. God is faithful to all and meets us even behind closed, locked doors.
The Jacksonville (Arlington) Lighthouse was birthed on September 18, 1974 and is celebrating their 50th Anniversary this year! Congratulations for being faithful to shine His Light all around your community! Here is to 50 more years!
