How do you see your singleness:  Do you consider it to be a blessing?  Or do you see it as a curse?  A cross?  A burden?  A punishment?  Do you feel God couldn't possibly understand what it's like to be single, or He's never impose singleness on people?

Perhaps you'll be surprised to learn that God has a very different perspective about singleness.

In the first part of our study on singles, we looked at the ministry of John the Baptist; Mary, the mother of Jesus; Jesus; and Paul.  In this part of the study, we will consider Mary Magdalene, the woman of Samaria, and Mary and Martha of Bethany.  We shall also consider some of the discrimination among singles.

The idea is too complex for our infinite minds, but as hard to understand as it sounds, the Bible presents God as three distinct Personalities - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

In the first part of this study, we looked at some of the characteristics of the Father and His relationship to Jesus and us.  In this part we will continue examining what the Bible says.

God is no respecter of persons and He values women every bit as much as He does men.  If we will carefully search Scripture, we find that regardless of culture, social or economic conditions, God is constantly revealing His love and concern for women.
