An Aglow woman in Texas is using the Aglow Bible Study, "Shame, the Thief of Intimacy" to mentor recovering meth addicts. She writes,
“The results of freedom have been outstanding. One of the women I am mentoring is being led to open a facility for active users that want to get clean so they can go to rehab. She has been so impacted by this study that she wants to make it mandatory for everyone coming into the facility. (Most rehab facilities will not admit active users, requiring the person to go through detox prior to admittance.)
“I am so grateful to God for all the Aglow Bible Studies He used in my life, not to mention all the rest of the treasures from Aglow. I really would like to see the Bible studies return. I have participated in every Bible study Aglow has published and still use them in ministry. They have proven timeless in relating to the needs of hurting people. God's word and anointing is truly without end.
“Bible Study needs to be encouraged even more today. Whether it is one on one or in a group setting, the relationships formed through the sharing of God's Word and the testimony of the individuals result in overcoming victory.”
