Pennsylvania Lighthouses Reach Out

Recently the North East Pennsylvania Area Team shared exciting activities that three of their Lighthouses have been involved in. Even though many of their Lighthouses had not been able to meet because of local restrictions, these three Lighthouses keep their feet on the ground in moving forward to reach out with a hand up to those suffering in their communities.

The Williamsport/Montoursville Lighthouse filled 33 shoe boxes with goods and partnered with Samaritan’s Purse to reach those in need.

The Mifflinburg Lighthouse has reached out to two low-income senior apartment complexes in their community by collecting needed food items and making it available to those in need.

The State College Lighthouse partnered with a local ministry, ‘Out in the Cold’. Reaching out to the homeless in their area, they collected bus tokens and restaurant gift cards for distribution to those in need.

How is your Lighthouse reaching out to bring the touch of the Kingdom in practical ways to your community? We’d love to know!
