For the past 3 summers a team from the Alaska South Central Area Team has been going into the Hiland Correctional Center and teaching GameChangers to a group of inmates. Wendy Cleveland, Alaska South Central Area Team President writes,
“13 ladies at the Hiland Correctional Center received Aglow GameChangers certificates Thursday night! Their Identity Statements were over the top and brought all of us to tears. They are so receptive to this teaching about living present/future lives and truly knowing their unique identity in Christ. Our Area Team and Eagle River, AK Lighthouse purchased their books.
We will be looking into teaching GameChangers at the New Hope transition house in Anchorage where female inmates can go after prison. The ladies at Hiland have requested this.
I just ran into one of the ladies from the Hiland GC class last summer, who said she never did finish GameChangers and she wants to. I was able to connect her with the class that Valley Aglow is starting next week!”
