At the U.S. National Conference in San Diego, I felt the stirring of the Holy Spirit to make this statement: This is not a conference, it is not an event, it is an assignment. ...This is the time to really begin to focus on the next four years. We will initiate a prayer strategy to help make America great again. ...I believe God has given us four years of mercy. In these four years, I want Aglow International to move in this assignment. I want you in the Word. I want you knowing the Word. I want you rising to the fullest stature of your identity. I want you to know how you are known in Heaven, and I want you to rise in the fullness of all that means. ...God wants to do some mighty things, and He wants to make Himself known in His glorious, majestic self.

God’s Mercy Extended
The 2016 U.S. Presidential election marked a pivotal time in history, both for the U.S. and the world. Calling for 8 weeks of targeted prayer from November 26, 2016 through January 20, 2017, we joined together corporately on three Global Prayer conference calls, and 2 specific times of fasting for President-Elect Donald J. Trump, Vice-President-Elect Pence, and the new administration.
I believe that God has given us four years of mercy to move forward and we have accepted the challenge of praying beyond the election process, beyond the inaugural process, and into the next four years for each trial this new administration will encounter. We are calling for wisdom, humility, godly strategies, strength and boldness to lead according to God’s heart.
Mercy Upon Mercy
I am stirred by a word from Dutch Sheets in December 2016, “Mercy is Our New Currency”. He describes how it was the mercy of God that spared America through the 2016 elections. In a vision, coins were seen raining down from Heaven with the word “MERCY” inscribed on them, and these words were heard, “Mercy is our new currency.”
The question we now face is, “Will we waste this gift, or spend it wisely?” Will we celebrate the mercies of God for a fleeting moment, or will we invest the mercy He has given us through moving forward to pray for the fullness of His greatness to be seen in America and in all the nations of the world?
“Let us come boldly to the throne of grace, to obtain MERCY and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:16). The word “time”, as Dutch shares in this word, is the Greek word Kairos which means a strategic or opportune time, not a chronological time.
Aglow, this is our opportune time to stand before the Throne of Grace in the governmental authority we have been mantled with. And we are committed to stand until the fullness of His Mercy and Grace have been poured upon the nations. We declare Mercy...upon Mercy...upon Mercy...upon Mercy...upon Mercy...upon Mercy to flow from Heaven to earth.
Prayer Strategy 2017 – Assignment for Aglow International
Aglow’s Global Prayer Director, Nancy McDaniel, and I have worked together to form a prayer strategy that we believe will not only affect positive change in America but in the nations of the world. As this prayer assignment continues to unfold, we are intentionally responding to God’s heart for America and for the nations. Watch for and expect to receive updates on this assignment.
Critical Mass Prayer Calls – Beginning February 23
- We will have monthly conference calls that focus on undergirding President Donald Trump, his administration and those who serve on Capitol Hill.
- We will also pray for critical current events as they occur throughout the nations.
- Many intercessors will be invited to give voice to our prayers on these calls, some different voices each month. Be prepared to pray!

Favor Upon Favor
God has prepared us. I believe that everything that has been poured into us for 50 years has brought us to this point of time. We know who we are and we know Who God is for us. The enemy will not be able to stand against the favor of God that is in each of us. The chaos in the earth will not be able to stand against the tsunami of Goodness that will flow through the earth.
What if YOU have come into the Kingdom for such a time as this? This is Aglow’s time. Let’s be counted together as those who, like David, pick up our stones and run toward the enemy. We have been born for this day!
