Aglow is Coming to Orlando!

Aglow International has selected the city of Orlando, Florida
as the site of our 2021 Conference,
scheduled for September 24rd through the 26th
at the Doubletree by Hilton at Entrance to Universal

Would you like to be a part of the behind the scenes conference community at our Aglow 2021 Conference? The Lord is doing BIG things in and through Aglow International and YOU are part of that! You are invited to serve on the team as we put together what will be one of our most exciting conferences yet. Come help us set the stage for God to move at this year’s conference.

Listed below are the volunteer jobs that we need help in filling. The descriptions detail the qualifications, responsibilities, and general summary of duties.

We also ask that you share this email with anyone you know who will be attending the conference. Invite them to volunteer to serve. We encourage each of you to pray about how the Lord may want to use you in this endeavor

Volunteer Task Force Job Descriptions

Below are listed the names of the Volunteer Task Force opportunities for service.

  1. Volunteers will be asked to work in shifts.
  2. No one will be expected to work through general sessions.
  3. You will receive training
    • Training will include packets of written instructions.
    • You will be asked to attend at least one Zoom training session prior to arriving in Orlando.
    • You will be given contact information for those individuals who will be able to assist you and supply answers to questions you may not know.
  4. You will be introduced to and work under the direction and supervision of Special Events/Conference Office leadership.

The Aglow Store Committee

Volunteers on this committee serve as assistants to the Aglow headquarter staff at The Aglow Store. The volunteers help with customer service, re-stocking products, line control, and whatever else is needed in the store. Retail experience is a bonus but not required.

Greeters

Greeters will welcome Aglow attendees to the Hilton DoubleTree hotel and give them directions to the hotel reservations desk, Aglow Wristband Distribution Desk, Hotel Hospitality Table, etc.

Hotel Hospitality Committee

This committee serves as Aglow ambassadors greeting attendees within conference hotel. They also provide conference information and directions to conference activities.

Human Arrow Special Functions Committee

Volunteers of this committee are readily accessible to provide necessary directional support for conference attendees to the various functions taking place during the conference.

Information/Lost and Found Committee

As members of “command central”, these volunteers are the “go-to” people for conference. They are available to provide information about Aglow, the conference and the hotel. They are also the ones who secure items that have been lost or found until they are reclaimed by their owners.

Production and Stage Support Committee

Volunteers on this committee assist the Special Events Conference Office (SECO) with security, communication, and other activities which take place in the general session and green rooms.

Usher Committee

Volunteers of this committee serve as ushers in all general sessions. They are responsible for checking wristbands, receiving offerings, providing information, and assisting individuals to their seats.

Wristband Distribution

Volunteers working at the Wristband Distribution Station will be in charge of checking individual registrations and assisting each person with putting on their wristband which will serve as their admission to all general sessions.
