The state of Alabama held their yearly Leadership Training on January 22, 2022 at Ketchum’s Coffee and Creamery in Hartford, Alabama. The name of the training was, “Get in position for the mission!” Women attended statewide, and enjoyed a delicious meal during the all-day event.
Holly Brooks, Alabama State President exhorted the attendees to come up higher in God, and be the leader they are called to be.
Tammy Hendrix, as the new V.P. Leader Development, shared a few Aglow training items, and stated to those in attendance that God will bless your, ‘Yes!’ All that is needed is your, ‘Yes.’ God will honor that step of faith.
The rest of the Area Team each attended to their part on the day of training to make it a success. It was a team effort!
Sherry Anderson, Florida State Leader, brought a word to us that we are to contend in our prayers and declarations to bring forth the plans and purposes of God.
Praise and Worship was provided by Amee Fulford, as well as Victoria Werneth, the invited Speaker for the day. Victoria’s husband ministered alongside her with a personal Alabama Aglow Message of hope, and individual Words of prophecy were given to all.
Our outreach focus at the training was to provide non-perishable items for a local food pantry. Everyone deposited their items in a designated tub that will be donated soon.
It was a good day! Everyone was encouraged to ‘Be a Leader’ the Leader the Lord intended for them to be.
