29 Palms Aglow Reaches Out

Recently the 29 Palms Community Lighthouse in California collected toiletry items for those in need. Members of the group joined together to place the items in bags.

As the Lighthouse held their monthly meeting, the President of a local non-profit* who has programs available for those needing assistance, Astrid Johnson, shared and spoke about the programs and assistance available. After the meeting, the 29 Palms group presented Astrid with the beautiful bags filled with special items for those in need.

Astrid is familiar with Aglow having participated in the past and she expressed interest in joining with the 29 Palms Aglow again. As so many are dealing with the loss of employment, sickness, and many other things, it is important to reach out and bless those who are in need in our communities. Even the simplest of acts can convey that someone sees and cares.

What is your group doing? We would love to know! Tell Us Your Story
