We are living in interesting times. I have spoken before of the increased sense of insanity in the atmosphere. There are many “hot spots” around the world.
Today, I come with a sense of urgency for my own nation, the United States of America. We are involved in a very pivotal election process with a mere 27 days to go until the final decision is made.
To be honest, a growing sense of concern, even alarm, continues to stir in my spirit.
A few weeks ago I sent out a prayer alert for the elections stating that “this is the time for us to execute the Kingdom governmental authority that He has mantled us with.” We want the plan of God to be foremost in the election process.
For the past few weeks, I have felt a rising sense of concern. I am sure we have all heard some of the varied information pouring into the atmosphere. Much continues to come to light regarding both candidates. Both are flawed. However, there are different ramifications to the impact these individuals would have on our nation should they become the leader of America and the free world.
One has past moral flaws and a temperament that seems impulsive. The other has a political history showing ethical flaws, disregard for the law, and a deceitfulness that could put America in a most vulnerable place, all the while lying about the evidence that has come to light. This choice could usher in the most corrupt administration in American history.
I believe we are living in a time when the enemy is being drawn out! We are seeing the ripening of evil. It is, in many ways quite shocking to realize the degree to which leaders have lived a life of deceitfulness. Yet, they now seek a higher governmental position that would rule the nation and lead the people down a path of further deception.
Yes, there is a sense of insanity in the atmosphere. But, God looked ahead and determined to have a prepared people on earth to carry out His plans in this exact time frame in history.
We are a chosen and called people…for such a time as this.
