About Jane Hansen Hoyt, President/CEO of Aglow International

Jane Hansen (web quality)Jane Hansen Hoyt serves as President of Aglow International, a worldwide organization made up of more than 200,000 women (and men) from over 170 nations who serve 17 million people each year.

Considered an expert on women and women’s issues, Jane has a personal passion to see the genders restored around the world to reclaim their godly positions for which they were created.   As an international leader and mentor, Jane works to empower women and believes the feminine sex has an innate strength and voice to influence the family, church and community.

Since becoming president, Jane has steered Aglow toward three key mandates:  Reconciling the Sexes - teaching and training men and women around the world to better understand God’s purposes for each gender; Muslim Outreach – Aglow works to unveil the belief structure of Islam, bringing awareness to Christians, while loving the Muslim people by reaching out to them with the Gospel; and Supporting Israel -- building relationships and alliances with like minded groups.  Also under her leadership, Aglow has grown to a worldwide network.  Today, through the use of email and global communications, Aglow can mobilize more than one million women to pray or respond to a crisis.

Jane travels extensively, sharing a message of God’s unique call to women.  As a skilled and accomplished public speaker, Jane addresses conferences around the world, both in Aglow and throughout the broader Christian community. Most recently, Jane moderated a forum on the abuse of women at the first ever Knesset Christian Allies Caucus Women’s Summit held May 21-22, 2007 in Jerusalem.

An ordained minister, Jane has been recognized by other international Christian organizations as a global leader. She serves on the Charismatic Leadership Council, the International Coalition of Apostles, and the board of the International Reconciliation Coalition. She is a steering committee member of the Knesset Christian Allies Caucus Women’s Council, Mission America’s National Facilitation Committee, and Morningstar Publications’ Advisory Committee.
