Mongolia - The work in the prisons continues to grow. One female inmate said “I have so much anger inside me”. Aase Sims, National Aglow Coordinator, said “that anger is most likely the cause why she is in prison”. This is the type of thing the Aglow women are ministering to in the prisons. Aase, and her team also prepared a Christmas celebration for the inmates.
Hong Kong – There were rave reports about the Hong Kong National Conference. There were 200 people in attendance, including 10 pastors from various churches, 9 ladies from the Philippines and women from Guangzhou, JiangYi, Shanghai and Macau, China. Praise God for a great celebration.
Our Hong Kong Aglow National President, Alice Tsoi and her husband were co-MCs at the banquet, the theme being “Male/Female Reconciliation”. Alice’s husband is National President for Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship in Hong Kong. What a blessing to have husband and wife sharing the platform together. Some couples came forward for prayer for their marriage.
American Samoa – In November, National President, Poulima Lagafuaina, wrote about the first meeting of Olosega Candlelight group. A lady from a nearby island came and “she sat outside and listened to the Aglow women singing and testifying what God is doing in their lives. The lady was crying and the Holy Spirit touched her”. Poulima said that after the meeting the lady went home that night and then came back to the hotel where Poulima was staying. She told Poulima that she had been searching for the Truth for a long time. She said thank you for the Aglow women who shared with her the love of Jesus, that she had been searching for so long. She accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior, and was set free.
In December, Poulima reported “We had a beautiful Christmas party in prison. About 94 inmates (both women and men) participated in the Christmas party. We shared the love of Jesus, and every one of them received a gift and food prepared by the Aglow women. Also the staff of the prison received food and gifts. They all enjoyed themselves that morning and they were blessed because of Jesus”.
This is the true love of Jesus being poured out by our Aglow women in American Samoa.
