Mexico - Sojahuachi Project
Implemented by the Chihuahua Area Board and the Eunice Lighthouse in Cuauhtémoc City, Chihuahua.
"The Lord impressed our hearts in July 2009 to support the missionary work being done by our Tarahumara brethren in the mountainous region; specifically in the Sojahuachi town, Bocoyna Municipality. We contacted Mr. Guadalupe Díaz, who is the pastor in this small town. He has great love for the Gospel and lost souls. To evangelize a family, he sometimes has to walk 3 hours up and down the paths in the mountains.
So we have visited the place three times and we've worked specifically with women and children. We share the Gospel with the women, but that's not the only thing we do. We teach them about dental hygiene, personal hygiene, and how to raise their children. We have a puppet show for the children in which we share the message of the Gospel.
During our last visit, we handed out 40 bags with staple foods, blankets, and clothing. We celebrated with a pinata with the children, handed out bags with candies, and we fed 100 persons.
The Lord told Pastor Díaz to build a church and regardless of their overwhelming poverty, he believed God. In 5 months time the church was built. It is a beautiful, 200 square meter construction where they gather to glorify our God. More are being added to the church. We rejoice for the opportunity of sowing $4000 towards this great work.
We must glorify God because all our needs have been met supernaturally: 80% of our funds come from non-believers, even the State Government has contributed with bags with staple foods. God willing, our next trip will take place in April.
El Salvador - This PowerPoint was produced by the Aglow leadership in El Salvador, and shows all the various Aglow ministries and forms of outreach going forth in El Salvador, Central America.
The Aglow women regularly hold medical clinics, dental clinics, and village ministry. A team of 40 women and men go out from the Aglow center in San Salvador and collect food and clothing donations from local businesses and individuals.
In 2009 4,731 people were touched in these outreaches, and 6,869 souls were won to Christ through Aglow outreach in the nations.

Ecuador, April 2010 – Our leader, Gladys de Pulley writes, “I am happy to tell you that Aglow Cuenca has a TV show! Sonia Rios (Aglow Cuenca's current President) wishes to thank the Pastor for the help he gave Aglow by advertising Aglow on the TV channel. He said that we could have 10 minutes in the “Mujer a Mujer” (Woman to Woman) show. Aglow has been on the air for a month now with the segment called "Encontrémonos con a Biblia" (Let's Get to Know the Bible), in which they are giving an Aglow 'basic doctrines' Bible study.”
“In other exciting news, the husbands of the Cuenca Lighthouse Aglow ladies have started an Aglow Men chapter in Ecuador.”
