Aglow Candlelight group presidents in Sudan are reaching out to the people of the nation in practical ways such as sewing clothes and selling food to help widows and the sickly who have no relatives.

On February 16, 2008, Aglow Ghana hosted a national event to offer thanksgiving to God for seeing Ghana through the successful hosting of the 26th Africa Cup of Nations tournament.  Ghana won the bronze medal at this tournament.

The Aglow women in Senegal are indefatigable witnesses for Christ.  They recently brought the gospel to two villages that had absolutely no Christian presence and were in an inaccessible location.

A village chief in Zimbabwe has become a Christian after seeing the work of Christ through Aglow.  He has opened his home to hold the first Aglow for Men Conference in Zimbabwe.

The first Aglow for Men Candlelight group was affiliated and officially launched in Bulawayo, The City of Kings, on December 8, 2007.

On January 20, 2008, Aglow Central Africa Republic (CAR) observed a Day of Thanksgiving to the Lord.  The event was attended by both men and women.

Aglow Zimbabwe is on fire for the Lord.  They are already part of the Generations Project and are involved in extensive outreaches in their country and beyond.
