The Warrior Bride is rising in the Philippines. Tessie Felicio, National President of Aglow International in the Philippines recently wrote, “I feel so excited and believe that 2012 is the year of the arising of God's government in our land. The time of the greater outpouring of the Holy Spirit is right before us. The year of the unusual and a time of acceleration is here.”
“Attending the International Conference in Houston created an everlasting impact in my personal life. Some from our nation were not able to attend due to flights being cancelled because of storms. Others were not able to secure visas; however those who were able to join the conference were greatly blessed. We are arranging many retreats in different regions to convey the messages we received.”
“The impartation we caught in Houston helped us to prepare for the recent tragic events in our nation. Sadly, our island Negros Oriental, Dumaguete all the way to Tanjay City were heavily hit by storms and flashfloods. Almost a thousand lives were lost and others are still missing. Homes and businesses were simply swept away.”
“In the midst of the devastation, one of our Aglow leaders called and said that a family of one of our Aglow sisters was lost in the flood. The family members who survived found shelter in our sister's care. Aglow groups helped conduct relief operations and also ministered to the oppressed. We were able to provide food, clothing, and other assistance to a hundred families. Pastors and churches helped us do the distribution.”
“Even though there has been much loss, in all of these, I firmly believe the hand of God is in control. Our prayer group is doing intensified prayers and intercession. There is a stirring in the hearts of Aglow women and men in this country.”
