Powerful Testimonies From Aglow Russia Conference

In April Aglow Russia had a conference in Siberia with the theme "Be Aglow in the Spirit". An international team of Aglow women ministered in concert with one another combining their gifts to bring the good news about the love of God. Topics covered in the conference were; spiritual growth, God’s order in relationships in church, families, and understanding that we are people who reveal God’s glory here in the earth.

Testimonies were given about the power of God’s grace working in difficult situations of bondages of desperation, fear, and hopelessness.  They had a profound effect in helping others who had come to the conference with similar problems.

Below are a few of the testimonies demonstrating the power of God working in what seemed like hopeless situations.

• I felt pain in my back during the prayer.  The Holy Spirit revealed to me that I needed to forgive people including myself, and to stop condemning myself.  Immediately I was set free from pain! Now I’m filled with the peace of God.
• I had wrong relationships in my family and suffered from a food disorder. When I received counseling and prayer I felt freedom and joy.  I will stand on the Word of God and keep my freedom in Jesus.
• I was an alcohol addicted woman who had lost meaning in life.  But when I came to Jesus He set me free!  Thank you for encouraging us through the Word of the Lord. I feel inspiration from the Holy Spirit to develop my gifts and serve needy and lost people.
• I felt heaviness, and some pressure in my relationships with family.  I couldn’t understand the reasons for it. After the conference, counseling and prayer, I finally have freedom from fear and grief.  I forgave all the people who had wronged me. Now I have the keys to new life and restoration of my family!
