Aglow Port-au-Prince, Haiti Celebrates One Year Anniversary

The Aglow Port-au-Prince, Haiti Lighthouse celebrated their one year anniversary on May 18, 2011. The Lighthouse was birthed from the ashes of the devastating earthquake which hit the island nation on January 12, 2010. God is bringing healing and restoration to the people and the land through the Lighthouse. Aglow leaders, Hilda Douglas, National Director for Aglow in the Northern Caribbean, Kathleen Richardson, National Director of the Eastern Caribbean Area, and Wyatt Johnson, Liaison Officer for Haiti and Vice President of Retreats and Convention Northern Caribbean Area Board, traveled to Haiti to attend the celebration.

Hilda Douglas will be speaking at the Saturday afternoon session during the Aglow worldwide conference in Houston, this September. She will share much more about how the women of Haiti have come together under the banner of Aglow to minister hope and healing to women and families in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
