At the end of September, a group of several leaders and members of Aglow Myanmar traveled to towns bordering Burma and Yangon where they spoke at 5 different churches. The team was also invited to the town of Muse for the first time where a three-day training was conducted.
The goals were to impart the mission and vision of Aglow, encourage the women in their spiritual growth, give practical teaching on maintaining their households, and how to evangelize. Approximately 100 women took part in the training which resulted in 3 new fellowships.
Aglow Myanmar National President, Mi Lay Nyunt reports, “Aglow Myanmar’s ministry work focuses mainly in spreading the Gospel to the lost souls, non-Christian women, children, and men living in the poorest communities in the cities. We also focus on the rural areas within each state and division in the country. Through the abundant blessings of the Lord, we have the wonderful privilege of not only doing evangelism, but also supporting and nurturing the non-converted and converted souls in their spiritual, physical, and emotional needs.”
Aglow Myanmar is grabbing hold of the Aglow mission of “Establishing powerful Kingdom Communities founded on the fullness of Christ in every nation of the world.”
